For rank proof there is no contest, because ZipLead has no rank tracking at all. Grids from 3x3 up to 21x21, Google and Apple Maps, service-area businesses with no storefront, unlimited locations and keywords on every plan, white-label reports, PDF exports, a Looker Studio connector and an API. Worldwide too. To be fair about the overlap: their sales enablement tool does pull profile and ranking data for one prospect at a time, so they touch prospecting at the edges. It is not a list builder.
When you do not yet have a business to scan. ZipLead starts from a ZIP code and returns everyone in it, scored, with contact details and the reasons not to bother. Once one of them signs, Local Falcon is the better tool for proving the work, and the two do not overlap enough to choose between.
Specific, and checkable on their own pages. If one of these is the thing you need, buy theirs.
Local Falcon answers one question extremely well, and it is not the question a prospector has. It tells you how a named business ranks across a grid of map points. It will not tell you which businesses exist in a market, which of them are reachable, or which one to call first.
