If your motion is cold email at volume, LeadSwift is the better buy and it is not a close call. ZipLead does not send anything: it exports a CSV or pushes to HubSpot, and you bring your own sender. LeadSwift runs the sequences, rotates senders, tracks replies and keeps the inbox in the same product, and it starts cheaper than ZipLead's first paid plan. Their filter that searches inside a prospect's website HTML for a string is also a genuinely different way to prospect, and it is how you find a competitor's customers.
When you are calling rather than blasting, and the question is which 20 of these businesses deserve the next hour. ZipLead scores every row 0-99, flags the ones a high score is hiding a problem behind, and on a licensed trade in California or Texas can give you the name on the license instead of whoever answers the phone.
Specific, and checkable on their own pages. If one of these is the thing you need, buy theirs.
LeadSwift is a sender first. It will find the list and mail it, and nothing in it tells you which of those businesses is worth mailing. No score, no tier, no reason to leave one alone, and no public-record check on who actually owns the place. At volume that is fine. On a list of 300 contractors where you have time for 20 calls, it is the whole problem.
